“Our mission is to create a secure environment for women to establish a solid foundation for long-term recovery, while also developing into resilient, self-sufficient, and contributing members of society.”

Dream it.
We recognized a need in our community for women struggling with substance use disorder. Our goal was to establish a safe environment where they could feel accepted and begin the challenging journey of healing and transforming their lives.
-
Build it.
In order to make our dream a reality, we partnered with our Local Coordinating Council, our county officials, and the Indiana Affiliation of Recovery Residences, we began to transform a residential home into a beautiful recovery residence. This is a house like any other on our street, giving our residents a welcoming dwelling while providing them a pathway to recovery.
-
Grow it.
Our program grants our women the opportunity to become all they were meant to be; addressing their hurts and habits, enabling them to become the mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends they were intended to be. Ruth House welcomes the women’s children and families to heal right alongside them.
